Health Development Partnership for Africa and the Caribbean

HeDPAC is a new cross regional initiative to forge partnership between Africa and the Caribbean regions,  strengthen South-South collaboration and build institutional capacity to collectively address the pressing health challenges. It stems from the collective recognition of the valuable lessons from the COVID- 19 pandemic and the need to prioritise establishing robust and resilient health systems in order to accelerate the attainment of Universal Health Coverage.

Our Priorities

HeDPAC will focus in addressing the pressing health challenges of human health workforce, resilient health systems and local manufacturing of medical products.

Who We Are

HeDPAC is a health development platform that primarily works with like-minded governments in Africa and the Caribbean regions to forge south-south partnership that address pressing health challenges in order to achieve universal health coverage. HeDPAC was incubated at the Headquarters of WHO for its formative stages between May 2022 – December 2023 and is currently registered as a not-for-profit organisation in Barbados and Rwanda.
